Greenhead Village Hall
The Village hall was fully refurbished in 2003. Along with the regular monthly Farmer's Market, Greenhead Village hall hosts many other community events. Regular groups include: Twinkletots parents & babies, youth club, whist players, artists & craftspeople, quilters, local historians, computer users, gardeners, salsa Keep Fit, & W.I. meetings.
There are also films shows, lectures, live theatre & concerts and many training courses. And, of course wedding receptions, christening teas, birthday parties and funeral teas. A management committee runs the hall and many volunteers contribute to the success of local events here. The annual Duck Day is held at the end of July, which is always a great day out. Local catering firms available.
At every Farmer's market we have a table with information for tourists and locals. Maps, guides, leaflets and flyers are available outlining local events and attractions. And there is usually someone around with vast local knowledge to answer any questions about the area.
